About Design Mix Concrete
Design Mix Concrete is an independent engineering-tools site providing clear, transparent concrete mix design calculators built to the standard used in each region — IS 10262 (India), ACI 211.1 (USA), EN 206 (Europe), BS 8500 (UK) and DIN (Germany). It is made for civil and site engineers, contractors, quality engineers, consultants and students.
What we do
Each regional calculator shows every step of the method — target strength, water-cement ratio, water demand, cementitious/cement content, the aggregate proportioning and moisture correction — so you can check the result against the standard and your own project data. The calculators are free to use and supported by advertising.
Important limitation
The calculators produce preliminary proportions for planning and study. Every standard requires trial batches with your actual materials before a mix is used in construction. Always confirm the current applicable standards, your project specification and trial-batch results before adopting any mix.
